This little corner of the internet, Reelin' In The '70s, is more than just a collection of facts and figures from a bygone decade. It's a deeply personal journey back to the sights, sounds, and feelings of my childhood growing up in the 1970s in the USA.

From the crackle of Saturday morning cartoons accompanied by the sweet crunch of sugary cereal, to the hypnotic grooves of vinyl records spinning on the turntable, and the communal excitement of gathering around the television for appointment viewing – these moments are etched in my heart with a vividness that time hasn't faded. 

This website is my way of sharing those personal experiences, those little snapshots of a world that might feel both familiar and wonderfully distant to you. It's about more than just remembering the bell bottoms and the disco balls; it's about rekindling the emotions those things evoke – the simple joys, the unbridled excitement, and the unique atmosphere of that era.
